Women’s Christian Fellowship
The fellowship started forty years ago through the divine wisdom of Dr. (Mrs) Soremekun in 1980. The first Secretary was Mrs Adeyemo while Dr. (Mrs) Soremekun was the first President of the fellowship. The inauguration was held at the Agric Foyer on 27th of April 1980 where All Souls' Chapel University of Ile-Ife by then, now Obafemi Awolowo University was, before moving to the present site. From 1980 to 2020, fellowship had passed through the hands of sixteen different executives who had worked tirelessly with the help of God, to maintain the vision, aims and objectives of the fellowship.
