The F & GPC main purpose is to act on behalf of the Chapel Council in respect to matters which are not specifically delegated to other committees and on any other matter that is delegated to it by the Chapel Council.Other functions include the following;
(1) Directing the form in which the annual estimates of income and expenditure will be prepared.
(2) Ensure that proper accounts are kept
(3) Considering the annual estimates of income and expenditure (submitted by the treasurers) for the succeeding Chapel fiscal year on time for comments and recommendations to be made to the Chapel Council
(4) Authorize supplementary budgets, subject to subsequent approval of the Chapel Council
(5) Approve rules and procedures for the control of expenditure and administration of other financial matters
