Remarks by the Chairperson, Chapel Council

Hello! Congratulations, you’re at the right spot! You are welcome to All Souls’ Chapel, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife!

I am Kehinde Taiwo, the chairperson of the Chapel Council. I am pleased that you are interested in our Chapel, whether to just look us up or to take a decision on a suitable place to worship.

The Chapel is interdenominational in nature catering to the spiritual needs of the non-Catholic members in the University Community. Over time, the Chapel has grown in its overall responsibilities, providing care and evangelism work within the University and neighboring Ile-Ife communities.

Our creed is “One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism” (Ephesians 4:5), and we believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord and the Holy Spirit.

Our services are rich in Worship and study of the Word. We are a mixed congregation comprising the aged, the youth and young ones. We have a strong family and community programs – our vibrant Sunday School cater to children and youngsters, and our several Fellowships and Service Units provide opportunities for deeper Christian knowledge and service.
