History of the Service Unit

The welfare unit had been in existence since the inception, but not much was known about the committee then. Upon appointment of Rev Ade Adegunwa (late) as the chaplain in the year 2000, he appointed Mrs. T. I. Amire as the chairperson of the welfare committee. Since then, the welfare committee of the Chapel took a new leaf. It all started from welcoming of the first timers, then it metamorphosed into “welfare" of the members of the Chapel. In the constitution, the committee is expected to be made up of:

1. Chairperson (appointed by the Chapel Council on the recommendation of the Committee)
2. Chaplain
3. Four members of the congregation
4. One representative of the Fellowship of ministers
5. Chief usher or his representative
6. One representative of Fellowship of ministers

1. Mrs. T. I. Amire was the first chairperson of the Welfare committee. She served from year 2000 to 2014.
2. Mrs.F. O. Adegoke (2014- January 2018)
3. Dr. Adejoke Clara Babalola , February 2018 till date.
